Once a while, you get these very insightful videos… I saw these 3 videos by the guy who is behind the famous doubleyourdating.com site ( yes, he is “David DeAngelo”). What he said makes a lot of sense. And most definitely, must be shared with everyone :
I think I am addicted to Squidoo. For some reasons, I am checking my squidoo lenses everyday.
Part of the reasons are probably
Lenses are
1. Easy to build.
2. Easy to monetize.
3. Easy to get traffic. ( ok, if you know how to get traffic… )
Squidoo lenses are known to be highly favored by Big Brother Google and rank pretty highly in its search engine results but seems to have fallen out of favor with them recently due to a spate of recent spams.
