17 Must Have Tools For Successful Internet Marketers – Part 1

Every internet marketer has their own favorite list of tools that they use almost every single day. Well, so do I.

Here are some of the tools that I can’t live without everyday. And yes, almost all of them are free!

1. Browser

This is the tool that every internet marketer will have, must have. This is probably the greatest invention ever made for the internet marketer. My favorite tool of choice? Firefox and Flock. Why? There is only one reason, they have fabulous add-ons that you can install to your browser and they make your life so much easier. I will share some very very cool add-ons in another post.

2. FTP

This is another tool that I use almost everyday. FTP or File Transfer Protocol is an important technology that enabled us to be able to electronically move a file digitally from your PC to your server ten thousands or hundred thousands miles away in an blink of an eye.

Favorite : It used to be WS-FTP, but with the discovery of the FTP add-ons for Firefox, I am hooked to FireFTP!

You can also try Filezilla.com.

3. Email Client
Many moons ago, I used to depend on Microsoft infamous Outlook as my email client. But my emails were so much that it couldn’t handle them! And it crashed on me. After that, no more Outlook for me… luckily Thunderbird came out and all was saved. Yes, I am a die hard fan of Thunderbird. It’s very stable and it can handle my emails ( over 1G ) with no problems ( Outlook crashed on me when my emails reached 500M ). Plus it is absolutely FREE!

Go get Thunderbird!

4. Internet Messenger
This is how we keep in touch with people in our lives, us new age internet troopers. This is simply chat online. Almost all my friends are internet messenger and it is a great way to say hi or to share a video. You can even do a video chat with your friends or a conference with a few friends.

Convenient way to stay on top of things and it’s free. There are several messengers that you can use. However, which one you want to use depends on which messenger most of your friends are using. For example, most of my friends are using Windows Live Messenger. Otherwise, if some of your friends are using one IM and another group of your friends are using yahoo messenger, you can consider using nifty tools like Trillium or Meebo to keep all of your friends at one interface.
