New Feature Of YouTube

Now you can actually pinpoint exactly where you want your youtube to start playing. This is great when you want to highlight something in the video to your visitors.

For example, I love the part in this Friends’ blooper video that shows Monica and RachelĀ  :

Monica Spits On Rachel

Or how about : Rachel Monkeying Around…

So okay, I’m a Friends’ fan and can never get tired of the show ;)

So how do you specify the where in a video to start playing?

The unofficial syntax is

www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOhJMHaMBws#t=1m15s

This just means that at the end of the URL of any youtube video, you simply just add in a “#t=” and then the exact time where you want the video to start playing. So in the above example is an episode where I just want the video to start playing with Ross arriving at the sun tanning place which is at the point at 1 min 15 seconds in the video. So I just have to put in a numeric “1″ in front of the “m” for 1 minute and numeric “15″ in front of “s” for 15 seconds. It’s really simple!

PS. Oh, and this episode is really funny!!
