It All Makes Sense… Cents I Mean… : Discovery Of Internet Marketing

Why suddenly internet marketing makes sense to me now…

I came from a background of developing ecommence websites, you know, the works…. product catalog, membership modules, shopping carts, payment integration etc. I built sites that sold anything from flowers, gifts, bags, cloths, groceries,CDs,industrial equipment…. and so many more.

I was in this big wide world of ecommence where only a select handful of cf companies were making real money online. But many saw the potential of the internet as another channel to collect leads and sell products. And it worked. But it requires much offline marketing and promotion activities. The more awareness generated, the more the company made.

Then I thought to myself, how can anyone start from stratch online? First you have to set up the website. Not very cheap. With all the bells and whistles, from design to programming. And you need hefty pocket change to do the promotions. Viable? Na… I gave up the thought…

Then I discovered the other side of the world, a small but yet active group of people doing what’s known as internet marketing. And I was hooked. But somehow, for the longest time, I just read and read, ebook after ebook and was enthralled by the promises made by internet marketers and never took any action.

I was really amazed.

For one year, I just sat, buy and read.

The second year, I began to do something about it….
