2. Write and Submit Articles
This method is definitely not new but do you know how powerful this is? What internet is is just another means or channel whereby information can flow, much like radio, TV or newspaper. Thus what is truly crux to the system is information. If you have gazillion pages of useful ( highlight please… readable and REAL content ) informative pages, your website is definitely going to be “loved” by both search engines and humans alike with just some smart marketing thrown in. If you are one of these websites owner, a powerful way to make further use of the content on your site is to syndicate your content to article directories.
Why? You might ask… Why do you want to share your content elsewhere?
First of all, to reach out to other websites with readers ( read : more eyeballs and visitors ), to build authority with your name and to build tons of backlinks from article directories as well as other sites.
There are many e-zines and online encyclopedias in the internet which provides free space for articles to be submitted. If you want to save costs, you can do the articles yourself. There are many freelance writers who are willing to write for you for a small fee, but to save money, it is wise to do those articles yourself.
Write articles that are themed along with the niche of your site. Write something that you have expertise on so that when
they read it, they can feel your knowledge about the subject and will be eager to go to your site. Write articles that produce tips and guidelines to the subject or niche your site has.
Most importantly : Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Write a little about yourself and your site. If you provide a light, information-laden and interesting article, they will go to your site for more. but remember to provide a link that ask them to take some action like “Click here to grab a free book on how to train your puppy to sit” or “Do you find the article useful? If you do, you may find further related information on my website… click here to check it out… ”
article marketing do take more time but the effort is well worth it if your article is really good. Sometimes a really good article can get picked up by big authority sites and once it is published, well, you can imagine the amount of traffic it can bring!
