Internet Millionaire Incubator 2007 - Jo Han Mok and Matt Bacak
Over the weekend, I had the chance to attend yet another Internet Marketing seminar. Usually, it came into my mind that it is probably going to be the same old same old stuff… if you are like me who had attended more than 5 IM seminars. You know the drill, speakers will keep trying to sell you stuff.
But I realized that instead of thinking negatively, I decided to give my thinking a twist -
notice how each speaker speaks, the sales tactic the speaker use (if any…) and observe the audience’s response
What a difference it makes!
Some of the speakers had their presentation nailed down and orchestrated down to a T… they had a seemingly bored audience whipped into a frenzy… Some speakers had terrific charisma that engaged the audience from start to finish.
So many styles and in the end… personally I found Jo Han Mok, the king of copywriting, managed to hands down and with his “steels of balls” whipped the audiences ( which by the way was left only a dwindling number of them ) into a buying frenzy. Jo Han, as always, managed to pull some “fuzzy weird rabbit” out of his unconventional hat: his first sales pitch is that he decided to “sell” his family… his wife and his new born baby and brought them into the hall. Of course, it’s all a joke but it nevertheless it took everyone’s attention in the hall and not discounting the fact that a baby is always a good way to disarm anyone.
Hats off to Jo Han Mok… Is it any wonder such creative mind is undoubtly one of the most successful copywriter?
