CopywritingEmpire Review

I remembered previously, Jo Han did release his http://www.Copywritingempire.com before ( I think it was quite a few years back ) and I did not grab this course back then. I think it was a bad decision ( as with many decisions not to buy so many courses like Stompernet etc )

Ha… this time round I took the decision and bought the course. Why? Simply because there is an interesting twist to this course as opposed to the other copywriting courses out there. If you are like me and want to be a real copywriter, you have to check out this twist :

Ah… not only will you get the training, you get your first paid assignment from Jo Han too! I think this is a great opportunity not only to learn from one of the best but also to get real paid work as well without lifting a finger. This first assignment will be excellent as your first copywriting gig in your portfolio. But there is a catch at the last part…

And most importantly, I know that if I faithfully do all the homework you assign me, I’ll qualify for my first ’spec’ copywriting assignment and you’ll pay me $500 for it!

Basically you have to do all the assignments that he gives you before you can qualify for this chance. Hey, I personally think that is a great way to make sure you learn and then apply what you have learnt!

The entire course is 12 weeks in total. For a start we need to go through foundation knowledge like psychology of your prospects etc. And then for each week there is a lesson to follow and then you are assigned “homework” to complete. For example, for week one, we are taught about headlines and homework has to do with writing of headlines. The beauty of this is that Jo Han will personally vet through the homework you submit and then feedback to you. I think this is even more important than just plain boring words on copywriting ebooks : having a real life successful guru giving you feedback! PRiceless…

Think 12 weeks too long? Well, you can actually short cut it… do one assignment everyday! Basically Jo Han has laid out all the 12 lessons out front. So it is really up to you if you want to do one lesson per week, per day or…. I am going at my own speed which I suspect is around 3 days each.

Ok, I gotta to do my homework now… “)

PS. If you are serious about copywriting, I think you better sign up soon as there are only 25 apprentice positions available… ( WARNING : it’s not cheap… but think about it, if you are serious about becoming a full time copywriter, then this offers the best bet for you to start — with a paid assignment at the end of the course! )
