I feel immensely superior to the normal folks around me…
After the 2 days of intensive copywriting training by Jo Han Mok, empowered by the copywriter master with a treasure chest of knowledge.
Truly so.
After learning the tricks of the trade by the master himself, I am like “wow”, he knows his stuff and he is real good at it. We had a “live” training session which each one of us do a salesletter for our own product. As he went through each of our salesletter, he was really fast in his thinking and he can transform a seemingly boring lifeless sentence (most often grammatically incorrect) into a sizzling tantalising one that captured your attention immediately.
Now I am able to see more clearly what is going on in a copywriter’s mind. Every salesletter I come across now, makes more sense to me and I can break the salesletter down to what the marketer is trying to do.
Such is the power of words!
